the positive things about my life after graduation

well ive written a long post about how it currently sucks right now, but i have some positive and great things for my life after graduation.

i can finally do the things i want to do.

im going to be a graphic designer. i dont know how it will turn out because im new to the industry, i still know nothing much. its so scary because all ive ever studied formally was architecture. i did graphic design things on my own, i learned it on my own. i dont know where im going to land an internship in, and that is exciting. I finally get to learn! Meeting new people, to be mentored. Live new experiences, a new chapter in life.

i think i am finally ready to drive.

its going to be scary. but i just realized, driving in indonesia equals independence. its a car-centric country. brisbane isnt, its why i love brisbane. but in indo unfortunately its hard to do anything if you dont have a vehicle. i might crash into other vehicles bcs im a bad driver but oh well i just have to prepare if it ever happens.

one step closer to financial independence.

i might be super poor but at least in a few years i'll be able to rent a place and move out. living at home is not a privilege i have because of my toxic family, so my dream is to move out into a small apartment with a little garden where i grow edible plants. when i get home from work, i can cook, use some of ingredients from my garden. pour myself some tea, and watch netflix under the covers. or i could knit / embroider something.

i might adopt a cat?

i dont know if this will be possible though. will it? i mean im going to work. will i be able to take care of it? but i really want to settle and adopt one. its a lifelong dream. i simply will have to do it one day. especially if im financially independent, hopefully.

but one thing i know for sure is that its not going to be easy. but at least im out of one thing im trapped in for years. it was my life for so long. im not missing it one bit.
